The Beginning

I got the feeling I should code this problem within an object oriented framework. But since my understanding of this problem is still so limited, and practical experience in OOP is quite limited, I decided to go with a procedural programming approach. In a distant future, I will definitely switch to the OOP framework.

iPad Virtual Keyboard: A Short Experience

The virtual keyboard is hard to use; constantly, I hit a wrong key. I used to type blindly, but the habit does not help much when typing in the virtual keyboard of an iPad. This difficultiy arises my appreciation on the real keyboard.

The virtual keyboard responds even to a light touch, thus hitting a wrong key easilly happens. To overcome the problem, I have to develop a new habit for the virtual keyboard that is to hang slightly my fingers above the keyboard at a cost of misplacing my finger. To avoid misplacing, I should always glance to the keyboard at the beginning of typing any words. This experience reminds me with a notebook where my thumb often hit its trackpad while typing and that made the cursor jumped unexpectedly.

Typing is the main means in inputting data to a computer, and the two index finger locators in the keys F and J are crucial in guiding our fingers to the right locations. Without the both keys, we have to spare attention in placing the index fingers correctly with a cost of slowing down the entire typing process.

Now, I’m not only appreciate the index locator in a real keyboard, but also its entire keys. For an example, every time I hit the boundary of any key during typing, I sense it, and subsequently, I slightly adjust my finger position. This kind of feedback simply doesnot exist in a virtual keyboard. For a long time, I have ignore such a small feature of a real keyboard, but now, I appreciate how they help me to interact with a computer seamlessly.

Unarguebly, the touch screen improves the way we interact with a computer, but only in certain sense, particularly, in reading; howevere, it does introduce another obstacle, for a case, in writing. In short, the iPad makes reading easier, but typing harder.

Roland Garros

In my personal perspective, among the tennis major tournaments, the Australian Open seems to rank at bottom, and not far from was the France Open. But now, I seem to enjoy more the France Open. The US Open is not much different than the Australian Open. Wimbledon is also special, but the France Open is totally different, which makes it really special. At Rolland Garros, the ball bounces higher, pushes the players to stand far behind the baseline, and makes them occupying a much bigger space. Consequently, the game in the Roland Garros needs more power than that needed by any other majors. Additionally, the slippery playing field really brings uniqueness of Rolland Garros out of the rest of the major.

These days, I am enjoying following any undate from Roland Garros, and the best for today, of course is: “If it’s fast, it’s ideal for the Americans, more so than any other type of players out here,” Dent said. “We always have that label, like, `Oh, you’re American. First round. See you later.’ So I think we get a lot of pride from winning matches here.” FeG-

Mental State for Exam

In any exam, any negative thoughts do not help; only positive thoughts does help. To maintain the positive thoughts, one should relax or should be able to relieve stresses. To calm down your mind, stress relievers are important, and some of them are breathe deeply a couple times, rotate your head: left, right, up, down, scalp massage, cup your eyes, and definitely, meditation. Strategy for GRE Verbal Question

That fact is the verbal section is full with sentences usually having some uncommon words; therefore, in order to correctly solve it, I should exactly understand the gist of the sentence. I may need to read the sentence a couple of times, then try every answer and eliminate incorrect answers. When only one answer remains, I should test it again.

Worry

These days, worry seems to be the only thing exists in my mind. I know life is up and down; I know a good principle is, whatever you are facing now, to only focus on doing the right thing, and the life or karma should take care by itself. However, I could not lie that I worry that I will not be able to manage my life; something, I have never thought before. I was arrogant and confident. I started this year with hard working, and only to realize it was not enough. Life is not perfect; doing the right thing does not always lead to a right result; is that so? Too early to tell, I will have to wait to see my principle stands in the face of reality. FeG-

Sentence Completion

Sentence completion part in GRE or GMAT seems not as easy as what I expected. There is no a direct way to find a solution, but need to evaluate carefully all available options. Although we may be able to eliminate some existing choices, but at the end we need to read carefully how suitable our solution. We also need to read those choices which we left out.

To conclude, the best way is to eliminate some choices, substitute those eliminated choices to make sure they are really wrong. Then to move forward to find a correct one and carefully reread the sentence to make sure the meaning is ACCURATE.

Dismayed and Curtailed

When a medical doctor in Jakarta told me that my skin problem could be originated from stress, I was a bit surprised because it was so unexpected. I tended to think that the stress often leads to a phsychological problem, and the skin problem is completely in different domain, but I was wrong. Since I begin to believe what the doctor told me, and he further added that I may not fully aware with stress, I try to relax at least for an hour every day. However, when the difference between me and a professor forced me to leave the university, it completely dismayed me to the bottom of my life, curtailed my mind, and heighten my stress level. FeG-

If possible, preditc words to fit into the blanks: positive or negative
Insert every answer choice, and reread the sentences
